:o) I'm so glad you have a camera now! Nice picture.

Did you note the deformed leaves? Thats from too much malathion and diazinon. Brugmansia seem to react adversely to those two chemicals.

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

Didn't even notice the leaves. I was drooling over the flower. I have quite a few seedlings going from butterfly crosses. Can't wait to see how they turn out.

Eric, nice picture. Hope you get one when it is totally open too. This is more pink than I thought it was going to be. I really like it.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

I love the color. It's a beautiful shade of pink.

Eric, Pyrethrum is bad on the leaves too. I found that out the hard way. Avid and Merit don't bother them though!!

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

Brugmansia..if the plant is small enough put it in a dark closet for an hour or two and see if the flower opens then take a pic in more light. :-) some of these hybrids close quickly when it starts getting light outside.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

woohoo! Eric, you made the picture of the day!!!

Eclipse, if all of my hybrids weren't in the ground I would most certainly try your suggestion. I grow most of my hybrids in full sun in the ground though. I do grow a few in partial shade in the ground.
Thanks for the advice on Avid and Merit Cala.
