Stripping leaves???

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

I've been battling spider mites all winter and thought I had won the war until we got hit with temps around 90 last week. It seems the mite population has exploded and are on several plants. My GH looks like a jungle with the Brugs growing like crazy and I've got several that have buds. Also have some seed pods developing on a couple of plants. My question is will it harm the pods or buds if I strip the lower half of the leaves off the plants. Right now it's impossible to get under them to spray with so many leaves.

i know the answer lol. no it will not hurt your buds or pods to srtip off the leaves. i stripped them off when i moved my brugs outside and they are growing better than ever. if i feel they are getting top heavy i have no qualms about stripping the leaves now.

snow, when I stripped mine I lost all my buds...Maybe I wasn't careful enough.I have new ones coming out now....

Striping...I've striped my seedlings to allow light to hit the more promising seedlings under the tarp of foliage. I've also striped the bottom leaves of pot grown Brugs so they could get water better from the sprinkler system. Never lost any buds or seedpods from doing it. I have lost buds due to the heat, not enough water, windy weather, mites, etc.
