My bougenvillia finally bloomed !I've had it it for a year and never seemed to be able to get a bloom on it.Hope my DH doesent see this picture though.I used "HIS" leather recliner for a backdrop.Thought the color would look good.I tried to root a peice but it didn't work.Maybe I try again.....

Really pretty foliage and bloom color. I have only had a couple of the Bougies, but didn't have good luck with them so moved on to something else I guess. I do think they are pretty though. Not to crazy about the thorns either.

Actually I bought it on e-bay.There are a few different colors available in the Logee catalog.I'll look them up.

It's one that stays small enough to keep in a container and move it indoors for the winter. They love heat, heat and more heat! Mine here are just leafing out now and it's been near 100 already. Also not much fertilizer, and hold back the water to make it bloom.
