For those of you that have never seen a Shredded White Brug here it is. I know it looks yellow but the older it gets the whiter it gets.

Looks kinda funky to me. Have you pollinated it yet and if so what type of pollen did you put on it? Ecuador pink?
Funky to Eric, but Cool to me. :-) I like unusual things. However, I draw the line at the Voodoo plant. Sorry, Kyle.

Yes, but I would still like to cross this one to Ecuador pink or Butterfly. Sometimes those wild Brugs surprise you.

I'd go with V. Peach or Ins. Pink. However, Gold Traum might be pretty too. Heck, just do a couple of each. You have a few acres to grow up a few thousand seeds, don't you? :-)
I agree with Kyle on this one.I have it but don't care for this one at all.I will see if I can find a pix of mine it's blooming now.
But if it was pink?? Then I might like it.
has anyone mated this one, and what did it produce? i have one about to bust a bloom, curious.

I did just what you said on an unopened flower and I was able to find the stigma....I pollinated it with V. Peach.
Cala,
Pink would be very pretty....it would look like a wad of tissue.

Hi Cala....yep...There's no problems with sending Brug cuttings to Ireland thank God! Does Shredded white root as easily as most Brugs? It's just i don't want you to go to any trouble just for me! Thanks a million...I have some (other) plants i'll send you in exchange!

Just jump in with both feet and ask questions. That is the fastest way to learn. We have all been there at one time or another and I'm still trying to dry my feet. I don't think I could ever absorb all the information. I can forget easily, so I will just ask again. These plants are beautiful and I hope we get you hooked on them soon. The Shredded White has a clean sweet smell....very nice.

Not sure if it would smell the same after being in the mail for three days. LOL
had to check, i have a bloom and a half open. they are huge, and remind me of a double culebra bloom, as far as the actual shape of the flower/tendril. i really like the scent, don't really like the dr suess type scent. did i spell scent right?
TiG and Bruno, I'll start one for each of you when the little plant I have makes some side shoots.
