How do I grow a guava?

I got a pineapple guave from a nursery (mail order), but it didn't come with any instructions on what kind of soil requirements or feeding requirements, or anything. It's still in the lil' box it was sent in. Does anybody know how I should treat this lil' guy?

Arrianna,
I use to plant mine in a well draining but moisture retentive potting soil, Full to half sun and water when dry..feed a regular fertilizer(water soluble) like Peters or Miracle gro 20-20-20 and watch it grow.
