Is this the beginning of a seed pod or am I jumping the gun and just dreaming of one?
Seed pod...maybe
Viewable from top to bottom...peduncle, ovary, and lastly style. I would say its up in the air at this point really. Mine sometimes turn yellow and fall off at that stage. Great picture snowhermit. Now, can we get anyone to post a close up of the stigma/narbe and perhaps a good close up of the anthers?
I'll keep my eye on it. I'm hoping it's a pod as it is Isabella x EP. Your pollen Eric. :)
I've got my fingers crossed for ya then! I used that frozen pollen on Citronella recently and it started a seedpod so heres hoping. Edited to add the following.
By the way, that cross sounds very nice. I am thinking if that cross blooms half as good as either parent watch out. Of course I would love to see Isabella x Ecuador pink x (Rothkirch) if you can swing it. I know, thats another year away or so, but I can dream.

That should become a pod soon..if it turns a light yellow in a few days it will abort..but if it stays green at least a week...you should have seed pod develop. :-)
And remember ...DON'T TOUCH IT!!!!!!! LOL
Great tip Eclipse. Thanks for the added info. Thats always a problem I have. Touching my seedpods. I currently have a Butterfly x Frosty pink seedpod I am hoping makes it a few more days so I understand your frustration.
Snow,
Your first pod? Isn't this fun?
Yes Glory it's the first pod, at least I hope it's a pod.LOL.And yes it is lots of fun. I was studying the spent flowers on the SG and Isabella today. I noticed that the calyx and stems on the ones that were not pollinated had turned yellow. The ones that were pollinated still had green stems so I've got my fingers crossed that I'll get at least one pod from each plant. Heck, I'd be happy just to get one pod. Kyle, I swear I did'nt touch them. LOL
