American Spagetti

Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

1- 1# package of bacon cut into bite size pieces
1/2cup chopped onion
1can of diced tomatoes
shredded cheese of your choice(but chedder is better)
spagetti noodles

cook bacon in frying pan until it is almost done, then put in the chopped onions and cook until the onions are done.
drain grease off of it and then place it in a glass baking dish and add enough water to barely cover the bacon/onion mixture, put it in the oven on 350*
Then put your spagetti noodles on to cook, use your own judgement as to how many noodles you want. (the more noodles the more servings you will get) after the noodles are done cooking, drain them and take the mixture out of the oven and pour hot noodles over the bacon/onion mixture. gently stir the noodles in with the bacon. then add a can of diced tomatoes and again gently stir them in too. then cover the top with cheese and cover with foil and put it back in the oven until the cheese is melted. A 8x8 baking dish should serve about 4-6 people.
also, if you break the spagetti noodles up into smaller pieces, it makes it easier to dip out of the dish for serving. I usually break mine into like 3's.

hope you like it!!
