HELP!!!

New Iberia, LA(Zone 9a)

Today I notice something on my BRUG leaves..I took pic of it. I was not sure if it is VIRUS or not. I checked the under leave and found very tiny red spider mites.. It is on salmon? Brug..

Natural sprays that I have used that work very good for me...safer soap, hot pepper spray....granular systemic's...Bayer Brand Rose Insecticide....I know others advocate alcohol spray and I have even some people who have used raid. I tried raid a few times...Its not my favorite. Diazon and Malathion will cause some severe distortion of leafs and buds so I don't recommend them for Brugs. Of course if you mixed a light concentration of Malathion and safer soap?

just regular dish soap and water mix, add alcohol?? all mix in one gal and spray. Should it be good enough???

Try that. It should help clarify some things for you.
Hope it helps,

Parkinsons linked to natural insecticide.

The spider mites have been a problem for me all winter. I finally got all my rooted 3 ft tall cuttings from last fall outside to my front porch, they seen pretty happy so far. only been down to around 40-45 at night so they must not mind it.

Eric, that link is a little frightening. And if true, could explain why Michael J Fox and a group he worked with all have Parkinsons. Do you know of any brand products that include rotenone??? it's something I'd like to stay away from.

Apparently this insecticide helps with virus's as per above article. Could be just the thing for Brugmansia.
