Arborea getting ready to bloom

I have attached a picture of my small Arborea getting ready to bloom.

Thumbnail by Glory

That is a beautiful arborea you got there, Glory. I note the good habit and the relatively small leaves. It is different from Ida and one of the parents I still got left. Both has the same problem as Monikas Rothkirch, that is way to large leaves. Ida can have 60 x 35 cm leaves and the flowers are only to 19 cm long ... I have long time had the thought to cross her to a small leaf arborea and see, what happen ... maybe arborea "Engelsglockchen" or Rich Sanders plant, which has also relatively small leaves :)

Is it the first time you see it in bloom? ... well, the flower is properly opened in this writing minute ... will you post again, when it is fully expanded :)?

Beautiful plant Glory. I'd love to see the flower when it opens fully.

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

It is wonderful that it is getting ready to open its bloom and such a pretty plant. I know you must be excited, expecially if it is the first time that it has bloomed. I have never seen an arborea - please take a close up of the bloom when it is completely open.

Gloria, Obviously someone was taking good care of your brugs when you were away. Can't wait to see a picture of your arborea fully opened. Waiting with anticipation.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Beautiful shaped plant, please post bloom when fully open.
So good of you to share this one with us.

Okay Kyle, what does <<< mean? I think I've seen you do this before but didn't have the nerve to ask what it meant then. Getting brave here now. :-)

Glory, please dont forget to add the fragrance to the picture!

Yes, Glory, don`t forget the fragrance ... so Monika, you love the arborea fragrance too? I find it a close number two after the golden aurea :)
