I have 4 trades of large Solomon's Seal that is usurping space meant for other, shyer natives. I'd like to trade and natives are needed for a new bed in shade. One specific thing I'm looking for is fringed gentian - plant or seed.
I also have about 5 trades of plain old coral bells - also bullies - that need to find new homes,and several trades of comfrey, again on the tough side. I need a garden cop for this lot!
I'm fairly open, but don't want any hostas or iris or euphorbias.

Oh Kathleen! I would love to have the Solomon's seal and maybe a bit of coral bells, but I am afraid I have little to nothing for shade. :( About the only thing extra in my shade garden is some sweet cicely or sweet woodruff and not much of either. My whole yard is full sun except one small bed right at the back of the house. If you get trade offers, don't worry about me, but if you end up with extras, maybe you could use a few sun plants. LOL
I have some variegated vinca major, liriope, spiderwort (purple) or ajuga for your solomon's seal and coral bells.

would coral bells or Solomon do okay in zone 3-4? i could trade some lilly of the valley if so. it would have to be a few weeks till I could dig yet with this walking cast and all but I have a good bit of lilly of the valley not mine as I don't like it. But a friend has tons and she don't mind as lond as i get her something :)
