Two new American hybrids arrived today.

FSH, TX

Thanks to Arlene and CC. Just have to get them up to blooming size and get a few pods out of them for the group now. Also recieved Janet Reno as well. I can't wait to get all of these crossed to some pink aurea or such in the yard. Of course if you guys want Ecuador pink crossed to these I can do that as well, I just prefer pink aurea types.

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

up to you. hope that DP does better for you than me. the other seems to grow like a regular brug!!!

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

the DP was so finicky, maybe i was afraid to put enough fertilizer on it.

FSH, TX

Never fear, growth hormone is here. Lol, Arlene, its not anything a lil dab of GA-3 won't cure.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Okay, having another brain freeze here. What is DP?

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Double peach, the other one is creamsickle,I'm getting hungry thinking about them......

FSH, TX

CC, what do you want them crossed to?

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Those should make some excellant crosses.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Eric,I trust your judgement in the crosses,I think Monika , Kyle and you might have a better idea of what should be breed to what to get what ever....I think one of the main things is our goal to have an American Double Pink, but since other colors are possible...just GO for it!!!!Hopefully by this time next year everyone in the double pink club will have one!

FSH, TX

It'll just have to be Butterfly then. Sorry, theres just something I like about that hybrid. One things for sure, if anyone gets a double pink Cala should be one of the first to get cuttings as she can propagate like crazzy.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Thanks CC. I guess we haven't talked about that one enough to allow my brain to read letters yet. I sure hope the double pink makes it into being.
