Let's trade

I've got a billion seeds here that I need to unload on the world.

I have plenty of Veggies and Beans, a few herbs, some perennials, lots of tomatoes, empress tree, and so forth. Check out my tradelist for my full have-list.

Here's what I want in return:

Vegetables: Any interesting gourd, winter squash, or pumpkin. If you have something outside of this that you think I'd be interested in, offer it up and we'll discuss.

Annuals: Any cool annual flower that has red, blue, purple, or white flowers. Absolutely no yellows or oranges.

I'm also willing to trade plants. Check my have-list again for those that I have and those I seek.

I'm looking for large trades where possible, and I mail trades every Tuesday.

Since you lived in Texas, you might already have any wildflowers I have, but in case they didn't grow in your area, I would be happy to send you the ones growing here in the central part of the state. I have abundant purple verbena and ruellia, both good for drought resistance and blooming from now until goodness knows when. And I have callirhoe involucrata var. lineariloba when it's ready, still not up this year. I have nemophila insignis, (Baby Blue Eyes), Monarda citriodora (Purple Horse Mint), and Salvia coccinea,(tropical sage). All of these are virtually maintenance free and highly drought resistant. Later, I will have a purple flowering plant, Dyschoriste linearis (Snake Herb). I gathered seeds last year from Prairie Agalinus, but haven't tried growing these from seed yet. The flower is pink, and the stems are sort of reddish. I know where to find some bull nettle along the side of the road, but even the heavenly fragrance hasn't been enough to make me find a way to gather it, having suffered the injuries from touching the blooms. If any of these are of interest to you, except the bullnettle, I offer them as a token of appreciation. Oh, I also have some iris, although as a collector you might want it to have a name, and it was long ago lost in the mists of time. I found one online once that looked like it, but there are so many tb purple bitones, who can say? It was introduced in 1927, wish I had written the name.

Hi Dave,
I've got some nice squash...
I'll email you. :-)

Dave,

I don't know if you are far enough north of us, but the pansies that we all plant around here for the winter months are not going to make it much longer around here. They can't take the heat. If pansies do well and you'd like some, I have blues, purples, burgundy and some creamy whites.

I also have a hosta hyacinthina and a hosta moerheim that I can trade, if you are interested.

Have you ever planted arum italicum? It's a nifty little plants...stays green all winter. The foliage is gorgeous and has an unusual texture. I don't really want to trade what I have, but thought you might want to take a look at it. Here are two links just to see what it's like.
