Joydie1, here is the flowering region

This is the flowering region of a seedling. Note the asymetric larger leafs, the smaller will grow into the same shape. The larger leafs on your seedling do not have asymetric leafs, as they should have if these were sprouts of the generative (flowering) region.

slow eyes, asymmetric do you mean the leaves don't come out at the same level or opposite leaves are different sizes? (when i was young my brain was sharp, then i had kids).

Thanks for the pic...dang, I'm just tooooo enthusiastic. Now when the Y forms will the leaves be shaped like this on both parts of the Y as the branches continue to grow?
