Cookbook update

I have made my final decision on the company for publishing the cookbook.

Prices are based on the number of cookbooks purchased, and the number of recipes included. In order to get all 1000+ recipes, I would have to order 400 books. I realize that we aren't going to sell 400 books, so the number of recipes will be cut to around 450, and we will be ordering 200 copies. In order to have 500 recipes, we would need 300 copies, and I don't think that many will sell.

That said, these are the catagories we have at this time:

* Veal
* Helpful Hints (Non-cooking, cleaning tips, etc)
* Lamb
* Microwave
* Game meats (quail, venison, rabbit, pheasant, duck, etc)
* Pork
* Holidays
* Pasta
* Beverages
* Breakfasts and Brunches
* Canning and Freezing
* Sauces
* Seafood
* Soups and sandwiches
* Diabetic, Low Calorie, Weight Watchers
* Beef
* Poultry
* International
* Vegetables
* Salads
* Breads, rolls, and pastries
* Cakes, Cheesecakes and Icings
* Casseroles
* Appetizers and Snacks
* Desserts and Pies
* Cookies, Bars, and Candy
* Miscellaneous Recipes (Bath salts, play dough, etc. Home remedies recipes.)

Do any of you have any major complaints about totally omitting the following catagories:

* Miscellaneous Recipes
* International
* Beverages
* Microwave

The cookbook will indeed be in the spiral printed version.
As soon as it is trimmed down and completely edited, it will be sent to the printer.

I will be contacting selected people (those with many recipes) about their entries as I get to them. If I do contact you, please try to get back to me at your earliest convenience, as this will help speed the process along. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions/complaints (yikes), or suggestions.

My goal is that each DG member has at least 2 recipes listed (unless you only submitted one), and that all of the categories are well represented. Updates will come as they happen.
