Jack let me sleep in this morning, so I just got up a bit ago. Still stiff but that will pass(hopefully)when the pain meds take effect. There is so much to get done.
It rained lightly off and on all Sunday, Sunday night and yesterday. I'm so glad I got all that fallen grass removed from the flower beds so that the flowers got all the water. It came so slowly that every drop soaked in wonderfully. We could use another inch next weekend and another inch the weekend after that. Then there will be enough moisture to get the plants up and growing.
Jewel, this is wonderful news about your DD's show successes. There was a convention of FFA/FHA students in the mall at Columbia yesterday. Busses all over the parking lot from most of the state.
It really is warmer outside already. I went out and filled some bird feeders right away. That means that in a couple hours I can put Thomas and the 2 bunnies in the utility room, Bullet, the 8-10 year old buck, and Shad's
2 year old doe Funbun out in pens today. If it stays warm during the night I may leave them out there more or less permenantly. My miniRex buck Sheldon will go out too. Shad's mimiRex doe, Charlotte, is due to kindle tomorrow so she will stay put for a few weeks. It will be so nice to not have all those critters in the house anymore and they enjoy it too. Besides the constant cleaning job that goes with them there is the matter of my allergies to all of them.
