Liz, I think it is one that is supposed to be in my greenhouse. :-) Very pretty.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

I don't know which it is but it sure is pretty. Love to see these pictures of everyones blooms.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I agree Brugie, but I think it would be happier in mine, lol. It's beautiful.

I also agree with Brugie *lol* I am not sure of its identity. Its is beautiful though :)

I imagine, that whiskers or some of Glory`s crosses would look similar to your plant, but I am not sure :)

Liz,
This one looks it has Aurea in it...very pretty.

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)

Whatever it is, it is certainly gorgeous!

I think there is aurea in it but not sure what else. Smells sort of like gardenias. Has large hairy, not velvety, leaves.

Liz, is this Bert's?

Very, very, very pretty.

The bloom is creamy white with pale green ribs. The picture shows it a bit yellower than it is. Thanks MaVie.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Dang,I thought it was really that yellow,I was about to start begging.I love it anyhow!BEAUTIFUL!

I tried to take some of the yellow off the flower and it started to look a little like the x flava we sometimes ago talked about :) It has cartainly aurea (the long horns) in it, and probably also x insignis or suaveolens (the broad flare of the margin.

Liz, I don`t know, how I could forget it ... two of your fuzzy x tomatoleaf has germinated. Nothing yesterday, but today 1.2 cm long root tips :)

I didn't recognize it as that yellow. It starts out yellow, turns white with heavy green ribs. Monika says its an aurea multihybrid cross with some candida in it, if my memory is correct. I thought it was a x flava but turns out it's a mix. It has really thick fuzzy leaves and larger flowers than most aureas and really long peaks. Anyone that got a x flava from me has this brug.

Liz... could it be B. candida Ocre ... http://home.att.net/~brugmansia/abadscandida.html ??? see also the Ocre on this site ... http://kirchner-abel.de/site/home.htm

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

Liz..it definately has aurea background....the leaves you described really point to that.It sounds a lot like a seedling I grew a few years ago from Thompson and Morgan seeds. It came from England. Was supposed to be true from seeds. Ha!!!Like that happens...LOL
