Fayette, MO(Zone 6a)

I slept in a bit this morning. Cold rain hitting the window woke me up. I got up fixed myself some coffee and went back to bed to watch the gardening shows on TV.
We had been invited to lunch at our neighbor's house. They were dear friends of my parents. The lady is an avid genealogist and we share information. We had a nice time and of course, before I left I asked for a few plant starts. She loves that and plucked off african violet leaves for me.
I was so disappointed today to not be able to get my garden plowed. Not much of a day for gardening. My brother came to borrow the horse trailer, brought my old pony home and then I decided to buy a couple of my Nieces ewes. They had decided to sell their sheep and I had wanted a couple of ewes with black wool. One of the ewes has a half Katahdin ewe lamb by her side.
I think I will make me a cup of hot tea and sit by the fire.
I was ready to Spring forward to Spring today. what happened with that?
