So, Here's a Question . . .

Oakland, CA(Zone 10b)

As one fairly new to this particular insanity, I'm still unfamiliar with all the different amazing brugs available. I'm especially passionate about pink (though I think I'm doomed to go through life without one, but that's another story), so here's my question - is there a variegated brug with PINK flowers? If not, are any of you folks out there working on this? Thanks so much!

THGA...go to www.lebonjardinier.com and order any of about 7 kinds of pink brugs, they are already in Calif. so no problem with you getting them! :-)

THGA, you should already have two kinds of pink if I remember correctly. btw, the JO turned out to be Dr Suess so you may want to change the tag.

Hi Snowhermit --

Sadly, all cuttings but the Suav. White died. I was just sick watching them slowly collapse in on themselves. This winter just wasn't a happy plant winter - or, being new to brugs, it's possible it's just me. I can't keep gardenias alive, either.

That being said, I just took Eclipse's advice and strolled through the selection at Le Bon Jardinier. Sigh. I didn't buy them ALL . . . but I did manage to rid myself of a chunk of that pesky rent money. I'll cross my fingers for better luck with this group. Thanks all!

THGA, if you ever get down to southern California, in the VISTA area, try this nursery: "kartuz greenhouse" I am getting ready to order some brugs from them, Eclipse suggested them to me, and I have fallen in love with them, and they are so kind and jovial on the phone, I feel like making a special trip down there just to meet them, and see what all they have.

THGA, Did the Passifloras make it.

Yeah but she was looking for a VARIEGATED pink brug, the closet is P&C with peach colered isen't it?OR is there a pink variegated brug???

Oakland, CA(Zone 10b)

Actually, what I REALLY want is a Variegated DOUBLE Pink!! Bwa-ha-ha! It's just a matter of time, right?

And the Passifloras are doing great! They made it through the winter just fine and are now putting out new growth - so my black thumb (so far) doesn't kill everything I get my hands on ;-)

gone2seed, any idea where I could find a picture of one? I did a Google search but didn't find it.

I just ordered a suaveolens varigata and it has white blooms. You might be talking about another one, though, and I just haven't heard of it yet. Getting mine from Logees.
