I am glad this information has finally come out. Much of what Monika has been saying is to be found here.
Virus information from Abads
Brugman, any more pics of janet reno yet? rainy here today, good day for transplanting.
Most of my seed bearers are already in the ground and I have run out of water crystals already. As for Janet Reno, MZ posted some pictures of that hybrid via email and I posted them to the other Brugmansia group. If you have hotmail address I can forward them to you. I definitly want to move forward with Janet Reno. I am thinking that an aurea or aurea x suaveolens hybrid would be a nice direction to take her.
I guess I am going to have to make my garden smoke free place and not throw my cigar butts in the brug beds
Brugmansia....how bout A Hyb. Butterfly or L'Amour X Hyb. Janet Reno.....bring out some more of that pink in the sides.
Brugmansia....how bout A. Hyb. Butterfly or A. L'Amour X Hyb. Janet Reno.....bring out some more of that pink in the sides.
Brugmansia...how bout crossing Hyb. Janet Reno X A. Hyb. Butterfly or maybe A. Hyb. L'Amour..to bring out the pink in the sides of the flower?
You read my mind Eclipse. Okay, so now everyone knows what I really wanted to cross this one to. Yes, I confess I like crossing pinks to yellows, oranges, and pinks. I don't like too much yellow showing up though and I like hybrids that show both colors seperated a bit more than I like the blended look.
Brugman...can ya tell I stuttered on those last posts!!LOL
Eclipse,
One thing is for certain, if you think that cross is a good cross then I will most certainly have to make it. I would certainly love to see dark to peach sides and light to dark amber sides in that Reno if I can get it with one more cross.
