I am fairly new to country living. I took out the last few ice cube trays & they had a white power in it where the ice thawed & froze till it eveaporated away with a auto defrost. I have also noticed a white scum on a container we use to fill the dogs bowl. What is this? I know it has something to do with the well water. Being used to city water I have never had this before. The water taste a lot better than city water.
