After babying it all winter, I think it is safe to say we made it. When I got it, it was only about 3" high and just starting to get roots. I planted it in a 4" pot and thats where it stayed all winter, growing slowly and losing a lot of its leaves. Well today I went out and bought a 29 qt patio container just for the brug. Its 19" tall, and I put it in the container, I bought for it. 3 things now:
1. What do I do to keep it from dying now that it is moved to a Larger pot?
2. The pot looks so empty now with only the brug in it. Can I add some small annuals into the pot for now to make it look fuller? (btw, When I went for the container today I got (30) count them 30, Ranunculus 'Bloomingdale Series' plants for a nickle a piece, YAHOO). This is what I want to add to the pot to make it look a little nicer for now.
3. When can I move this container outside and the brug safely live? I live in Zone 5b (Ne PA) and it still gets in the mid 30's here at night.
Thanks
Tamlamb

Help with my Brug
I live in zone 5 too and to bring my brugs out I usually start to harden them off in late april early may.I put them on the porch first and then into the shade of a tree, then they get the full sun.As for it dying ,you shouldn't have a problem now with its new home, just give it ferilizer!I've never planted anything in with my brugs but if your going to ,use plants that like lots of water and fertilizer.
