(Zone 8a)

I just repotted it before I came online and it has wilted! I hope someone will tell me that it will perk back up...

just be patient and don't give it full sun unless the place you bought it had it there. It's quite lovely!! I'm going to have to find this nursery!!!

But that is the way they are supposed to be. I have learned that brugs are resilient, last night I discovered a brug that was behind the curtain that I had not watered in a while (a week or so), and it looked pathetic, all the leaves were droopy, and rubbery, then I drenched it, and this morning it looked as though it had never gone thru that trauma.
So, just hang in there it will bounce back.

Tig...I found it at a nursery in Phenix city called John's on 14th st! Want me to call and see if they have another and I can bring it to CC on friday?

can you email me the price? I don't want it if it's DR Seuss (have enough, thank you:) but if someone says it is an aurea, I do.
can someone help us? would an aurea have toothed leaves?

Tig, i think the flowers are too large to be aurea.

Rebecca, either put an umbrella over it or if in pot, move it to the shade and gradually get it conditioned to the sun, won't take long.

Arlene...thanks I put it back in GH and is perking up...Whew, I thought I had killed it!

Tig...I have been looking at pics of Dr Suess and think that is what it is and it cost 8.00... if it turns out to be something else I could save you a cutting!

Thanks everyone...

thanks hon. if it is Dr s, you will love it, mine bloomed wonderfully for me, and was a fast grower!

tiG...from what I can see this is CG........typical dangling blooms.and non-serrated edges of leaves. Its not a full blooded aurea. :-)
