Sure hate to trash these, they are so pretty in late summer after everything else has peaked out, Sorry I don't have a good pic of them. They are drought tolerant, get to be about 8' tall with clusters of 2" yellow flowers. They do need space tho as they tend to proliferate by roots and seeds.
If any one wants them for postage - LMK

Have lots of Swamp Sunflower
Azalea, I posted a close up of these flowers on the Plant Database. (I've got lots of them, too!) If anyone wants to see what they look like, do a search for Helianthus augustifolia.
Hi Azalea,
I would love to have some of them! I have to take out a bunch of bad trees and am putting in stuff to control erosion that will also look sort of like a wild garden. I had a small amount of these and moved them up there last year, but it is a 75 feet length. Argh! LOL I like that they are big enough to hide the fence too. :)

I would love to try some of these. I will put them in an area next to my pond and if they escape the area the goats will have a feast. LMK if more are available. Lani

Mark, Lol, after your last experience, do you still want to deal with me?? It's not too late, they are still small enought to ship - just hate to think of you getting "dead plants". But I can send them out right away if you really want them. They are so pretty really.
Azalea you have mail.

Michele
