Here's the Scoop!!

Okay everyone. Here is the scoop!! Last fall I sent out cuttings of what I thought was Charles Grimaldi. It was given to me with that name. Now, it has come to my attention that this brug is the same as my Dr. Suess. I don't want you to misunderstand. The two brugs are different, mine were just one and the same. I just want those of you who got a Chs. G. from me to understand that it is actually Dr. Suess so you can put the right name with it. I do apologize, but I certainly didn't know any different at that time. Hope it doesn't create any problems for you.

Brugie, this seems to be a constant battle tryiing to figure out who is FP and who is CG or DS or JO. Drives me crazy some days. I think we're all have wrongly named plants. But at least we're trying to correct it. Too bad the nurseries weren't as careul as all of us.

I'm not totally clear on the FP-IP thing, but I have got the JO-CG vs. DS straight in my head now. Hope we don't run across others that will mess us up even more. Guess these kinds of things make keeping records even more important. How's Oscar?

Brugie, the CG and DS that you send looked exactly alike when they bloomed, but also looked like my CG, which I bought for JO. Argh, I'm even more confused.

Well, Cala, I think we are all a little mixed up here now. I do have a JO or CG that has smooth leaves, so this fall I can send you a cutting. I'm almost positive that I got it from Glory.
