Now that the trees are starting to bud out around here,I'm looking for an authentic process for making file' powder (fee-lay powder) A Cajun concoction derived from the sassafrass tree leaves. You use it for flavoring and thickning gumbos and such. Anybody got instructions?

I'm going to post this on another forum or two also.
