Rebecca, it could be Charles Grimaldi. But Eclipse can tell you more about it, as there is another hybrid similar looking, , Dr. Seuss, this one, I dont know at all.

Jonesboro, GA(Zone 7b)

It looks a lot like the yellow one that I sent you last year. I don't know it's name either!

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

Looks like Charles Grimaldi....Dr. Suess is usually more yellow than this one. :-)

Eclipse, is that how you tell them apart?? i traded for JO, CG, bought 2 dr seuss, and a jamaican yellow that wasn't (CG or DrS?) that wasn't, and i could NOT tell any of them apart. i didn't measure anything. i think brugman and earl say solid gold is very similar too but a smaller plant.

Saint Petersburg, FL(Zone 9b)

Looks more like a CG to me but The lighting in the pic could change the color a little .
Arlene I have a soild gold and my plant is growing just like the others I have a jamican Yellow and the sg are blooming now and there is a world of difference between them.

Don't know which one it is but you sure are lucky to buy one with flowers already on it.You've got a very pretty plant.

Saint Petersburg, FL(Zone 9b)

Arlene the SG looks a lot like the CG but the color of the flower is darker more of a gold than yellow. having trouble keeping seeds pods on the double white candida and SG but have two on my versicolor peach by wiskers and one on my CG by the peach.

A picture of the leaves might help. Looks like there might be some teeth on them. Could also be the one behind it that I'm seeing. Eyes aren't so good anymore. Kinda going downhill with the rest of me.....
