Appreciate any help!
Rebecca
I bought a brug !
Congrats, and you have blooms too! will take better eyes and more knowledge than mine to ID.
Rebecca, it could be Charles Grimaldi. But Eclipse can tell you more about it, as there is another hybrid similar looking, , Dr. Seuss, this one, I dont know at all.
It looks a lot like the yellow one that I sent you last year. I don't know it's name either!
Looks like Charles Grimaldi....Dr. Suess is usually more yellow than this one. :-)
Eclipse, is that how you tell them apart?? i traded for JO, CG, bought 2 dr seuss, and a jamaican yellow that wasn't (CG or DrS?) that wasn't, and i could NOT tell any of them apart. i didn't measure anything. i think brugman and earl say solid gold is very similar too but a smaller plant.
Looks more like a CG to me but The lighting in the pic could change the color a little .
Arlene I have a soild gold and my plant is growing just like the others I have a jamican Yellow and the sg are blooming now and there is a world of difference between them.
Pete
Pete, i wasn't clear. the one i bought from earl was supposed to be jamaican yellow and it wasn't, looked like CG/GO to me. does the SG look like CG??? and how are your seed pods coming?

Don't know which one it is but you sure are lucky to buy one with flowers already on it.You've got a very pretty plant.
Arlene the SG looks a lot like the CG but the color of the flower is darker more of a gold than yellow. having trouble keeping seeds pods on the double white candida and SG but have two on my versicolor peach by wiskers and one on my CG by the peach.
did I get a coral glow from you?? its getting ready to bloom Just was courious on what the cross is that made that will post a pick after Church today

Pete, You've got some nice crosses there. I think it's going to be a very exciting and interesting year.

Oops...you all have lost me...what plant is it let alone variety!! LOL
Hadn't enlarged the photo...angel's trumpet? They grow like weeds here!
Well...I had it in greenhouse and took pic (lighting was bad)so tomorrow I will take another pic outside and the other bloom opened today!
Experts get ready!
bumping back up, Eclipse called charles grimaldi, betcha he's right!!! nice pics you take ima.
A picture of the leaves might help. Looks like there might be some teeth on them. Could also be the one behind it that I'm seeing. Eyes aren't so good anymore. Kinda going downhill with the rest of me.....
