P&C and Suaveolens Variegata

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

This is a picture of the Suaveolens Variegata next to P&C.
P&C is on the right. It has a smoother leaf and is not as rippled as the SV.

SH, it could be Klerx variegata but only the flower will tell. The corolla on many Klerx flowers are deformed. The leaves look much like it too. Klerx is the name of a dutch nursery owner who introduced the plant. It is also known as suaveolens variegata, but to differ it from Maya, the name Klerx was added. If the flower is a normal suaveolens then you have a new suav. variegata.

I think I'm going to quit stripping leaves now. Your plants look so good.

SH, Thankyou for posting the pic! Wow, They look really good!!! I sure hope mine grow as good as your's did!!! Do you have a greenhouse that you have yours in? One o my problems here is I dont have a greenhouse and I dont get much light in my house, I put the pots out in the sun during the day to give them good light, I also have them by a 'grow-light' inside the house.

Iris, I had mine under lights in the house all winter. I just put them in the GH I think the first of March.Yours will grow just as fast. Logees has nice healthy plants.
