Representatives of schools, community gardens and other groups can get free seeds for flower and vegetable gardens. Grants of between 100 and 1,000 seed packets are available from the America the Beautiful fund. For information call(202)638-1649 or go to http://www.freeseeds,org (Go to operation Green Planet). To receive an application send a self-addressed envelope to America the Beautiful Fund, 1730 K Street NW, Suite 1002, Washington, D.C. 20006
