Hibiscus "Ring of Fire"

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

This is another one that DH bought for me. It's beautiful and the blooms are huge on it too. I love how the blooms are still pretty the second day. you can't really tell from the photo, but the center is really dark.

I do not need another obsession, I do not need another obsession, I do not need another obsession, I do not need another obsession.
I have GOT to stop looking at all these hibiscus pictures. Mom came up last night and told me I was obsessive. I said I never tried to hide it :) but told her to watch out for my yard this year!

it's a very good thing I don't have a really good nursery in this town!!! and I won't buy them on line, not that I couldn't, but that helps the control:)

IF I can get any cuttings to root (I think this is one that needs to be grafted) I will share. This has got to be the prettiest one I've ever seen.
TiG, I can send you a link to some gorgeous Hibiscus photos and I don't think they are for sale, so you should be safe.

I promised myself that I wasn't going to do this, but I'm afraid I've got to have more hibiscus. I wonder if I could by stock in ProMix?

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

no Cala, I'm in enough agony with what you, Hibiscus and Kyle post!!!!!!!!!!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Come on tiG, it is just an extention of your first obcession.....flowers. Not a new one!! I'm afraid I'm hooked on them. I've got to have a glass room for winter growing.

Bill came up to my green house and said "uh-oh there goes the big house next year". Poor guy, he is really out of room because of my stuff taking up one of the smaller houses where we usually do all of our petunias. We do petunias in baskets, 4 inch pots and flats, and now he has to find somewhere to put them.

Calla ,that is gorgeous! The good thing about hibiscus is my DH loves them too,so he forgives me for buying them!
