Chimeras are a branch mutation that is totally different in form or color of flower than the plant it grows on.this is how many of our different forms and colors originated..in the distant past different colored forms were found on plants and then grown on as cuttings to establish the mutation. Most wild forms are usually white on most brugs...then when a colored form showed up they took cuttings and preserved the new stock.Monika..have you had many chimeras show up?? I haven't had any yet.

Chimeras...
Grazie seems to be one. The flower is smaller and differs in shape. I can tell you more about at the end of this summer, when it had more flowers. The mutation showed up the first time last year. The growth is much slower as of the normal plant. Chimeras are welcome mutations to gardeners.
