Hi,

I know its really late to ask. But do you by any chance have anymore hibicus cuttings left to trade?

I have many tropicals and three different variegated hibicus I can trade.

Thanks,

Daisy

That's pretty.

Got any rooting secrets to share ???

Toadsuck, TX(Zone 7a)

Man oh man........that's terrific. How about some Red Texas Sage for one.......and believe me I don't offer that for much of anything!!

Rooting secrets: same as always, perlite, about 3", water 1" bottom of jar, rootone, plastic bag over, usually 3-1/2 weeks to root.

Where's everybody been for last 2 mo.? I was trying to get rid of these, now everybody wants them, so will be starting all over, rooting them. They have buds, now, so can't start too many! Will try.

My cutting is blooming. Can you believe that. It is a gorgeous flower. Thank you very much, Hibiscus for trading with me. This is one of the prettiest flowers that I have. I have a picture of it and will post it when I get them put on a disc.

That is the same little plant that bloomed here, before I sent it to you. So glad you got to see it bloom so soon!

Yes Gloria, This little plant has made me very happy. I can`t stop looking at the bloom. It does not look real with the little orange balls in the center. what ever they are.

Edgewater, FL(Zone 9a)

Hibiscus, Do you take green cuttings or woody? How long of a stem? I have a beautiful double red that I would love to multiply. I also have several of the one you pictured here. I love the double variety. I do have a couple of the Chinese Lantern varieties. This is a really unusual looking one, I'll try to post a picture.

I have rooted Hibiscus but they take so long. I used sandy soil in a regular pot. Kept them in a mostly shaded area. I will try the perlite and a jar.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

I take green cuttings, 5"-6" long. I have a fire engine red, dbl. and a single one that is gorgeous, can we trade some??

Sure hope the priority mail cost doesn't go up, this will sure put a damper on our mailings!

Sorry to say - it is going up June 30th, but only .45 to $3.95 for up to one lb.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Someone on GW said it would be charged by how many zones package goes through, like zip codes, it would end up being $6.00+ for same $3.50 package, hope that is wrong, I won't even worry about .45.

Toadsuck, TX(Zone 7a)

It's $3.95 PLUS so much per zone......not zip code.

I'm going to ask for a rate chart when they come out.
