Well you better not ask for them back AFTER I make salsa! LOL
Hummmmm i think i will stick in some pepper plants too
and wait and come calling this summer...
Well, if you insist...........better go ahead and throw in some onions and garlic and how about some vinegar and a bit of sugar and maybe a pinch of cilantro and definately a squeeze of lemon! Gosh, postage for you is going to get a little high. I have an idea, you just make the salsa and bring it when you come! ROTFL
I've only grown cumin as sprouts for salad - it's good like that, but not what you're after LOL :)
hey i might like that too. Thanks [[[philomel]]]
Now I have had bean sprouts, alfalfa sprouts and even brussel sprouts, but cumin sprouts is a new one on me! LOL Say Phil, you must go through a lot of seeds that way. :) Wonder if Basil sprouts are any good, got enough of those to line my sidewalks. ha ha ha
Why not - always worth a try!
Eating cumin sprouts actually makes you smell of cumin - so make sure you like that before you try them lol.
You can get seed at:

Badseed~ If I may interject here- Basil sprouts ARE good. I sprout mine on a wet sponge in a shallow dish, then eat them in a salad when they're 1/2-3/4 inch high. I save a lot of basil seeds just for this. You can't, as you must know, use store-bought seeds for sprouting, unless you know absolutely they're not treated.
Well, a wealth of information! Thanks Phil and Ivey. Hmm, don't know that I would like Eau de'Cumin. LOL Maybe I should smear some on my body and see? LOL Just so happens, I have some nice ground Cumin from the Amish! A Kentuckian we all know and love gave me some Amish spices and herbs for Christmas. On a more serious note, I have tons of basil seedlings and a bunch more seeds, plus a bunch of other herbs. My hubby had a heart attack in January and I am trying to put more flavor in things and use less salt. So, where is Lyles? I have only ever been to Nashville/Brentwood.
Badseed~ Lyles is 50 mi SW of Nashville, Waaayyyy in the sticks. I just get my mail there, live out on a ridge west of there.
