Ms Jen, except for the ones coming back from frost mine are all in pots. (trying to get some to bloom for DD's prom). it is already so hot i am having to condition them to being in the sun or they start looking sad, don't have enough umbrellas for them all.

Anyplace in a sunny spot....keep out of windy spots too.

Just planted some of mine outside finally. I must confess almost all of mine are going in the direct sun. I find that for the most part they tend to grow a bit faster in the direct sun if one can keep them from dropping their leaves during the hot summers. Shading during mid-day seems to help this tremendously; although, if I shaded during the mid-day my well would not being dry...so need less to say I don't follow my own advise to well.

Eric, How lucky you can plant them outside now. My Brugs are in the GH looking outside and shivering.Five new inches of that $#&@!!white stuff and going into the single numbers again. I'm green with envey.
