Monika and others, can you tell by looking at the bloom on this plant if it is actually Ecuador Pink? I bought it with that name, but would really like to know if I have the real one.

Brugie..its da real thing!!Its Ecuador Pink..you can tell by the curled up edge on the corolla...Ver. Pink doesn't curl like that.And its a lighter pink.
Thats also the pollen bearer on Dr.D and Amber Rose. Mother of both being Dr.Sues. I love that cross and I encourage anyone to try that same cross. Some real beauties. I expect CG x Ecuador pink would throw out some lovelies as well though.
So, do you guys think that Dr. Suess is not the same as Charles Grimaldi and Jutner Orange? I have all three and see no need to keep them all if they don't have something significantly different about them.
Brugie Dr suess and Charles Grimaldi are different..different sized flowers and different shaped flowers..
Thanks Kyle, there has been a lot of talk of them being the same. So if I keep these two and get rid of JO I should be okay. Just have to keep the number of brugs reasonable. I have my favorites and priorities and don't need duplication.

it's Jutner Orange and CG that are the same plant.
Eric, we were planning my brug alley on the way home from the trip and I'm using Amber Rose as the front plant on each side. Closest to my front door. Can you post or email me the crosses on Dr D and Kyles Pink, want to plan them out for the best blooming display.

I knew that Jo and CG were the same but seems like we had discussion about CG and DS being the same too. No one could see any difference in them. Maybe takes a trained eye to see these things. I just see "pretty". By the way, great picture you took of the group in FL. Glad you are home safe.
