move them or leave them

Some of my "no name brand" brugs are blooming in the green house. Should I move them outside so the bees can get to them or wait until they are planted in the ground. They are full of buds so they will be blooming for a while. Or does it really matter?

I have no idea and ask the other.. Mine are outside in the sun now. I don't have green house and I keep covering during cold weather with light and they are starting growing now. It's going to be warm this weekend and next week so I think you may take them out if it get cold, bring them back inside.

If your wanting seedpods its best to do them by hand unless you have a lot of Brugmansia as it takes the moths a bit to find them. Once they do find your Brugmansia though you can rest assured they will be pollinating them for you. Of course the prefered method of pollinating is to hand pollinate that way you don't have to guess which pollen is on which flower or in the case of moths...multiple pollens may be on a single pistal. Bee's most certainly go into Brugmansia flowers as well, but I don't know if they are better or worse than the moths at pollinating. I would assume the moths are better at it though as they zoom around very fast from flower to flower and take a good bit of time while they are in their. Of course some of those bee's seem to get lost in the flower sometimes. At any rate, I find it more satisfying to hand pollinate. But if all your after is seeds the moths will give you a tremendous amount if your growing a descent number of Brugmansia. Of course I think the moths do have their favorites.

Thanks. On These I guess I will let them do what they will. You explained it very well and I will hand polinate when I have a flower that I really like (color & smell) wise. I will try to get some photos and put a name to them. That should be the first step.
Thanks:Brugmansia also Minischnuz.
