If you have any friends who are subscribers to Earthlink and they ask you why they can't log on, here's what I just found out from their site when I looked there for a friend who called me:

They have live chat and I was able to get online w/ a rep within a minute and act as a go-between for my friend.
It got me thinking...It's good to know the support site and/or network status page for your ISP so you can phone a friend with web access when you're not able to get online - often they can get you the information in minutes so you're not on hold for a half hour just to hear they're down.
