Very nice.

Have you ever looked at the flowers under a microscope? They look like they are made of little glass beads.

Calalily...I bet...that would explain the glossy texture.. :-)

I never looked at my FP at night but this year I'll make it a point to see it in the dark.

that is so pretty. Still waiting for any of my Brug's to bloom

Impatiens and begoina flowers are beautiful "close up" too.

Even though Frosty Pink isn't one of my favorites, I'll have to admit that this picture is nice. I would be happy to have a Frosty Pink in bloom right now. When there is nothing growing out there, these picture do make my day. It is certainly quiet on the brug forum these days. Everyone down south must be working in their yards and gardens while we are still a bit to chilly up north.

Kyle,
Very nice!! My Frosty Pink is barely holding in there. Spring needs to come up here in the dreary cold A.S.A.P. as my plants are in need of that warm sunshine.

When I have a frosty pink bloom, I will definately go out and look at it...The key words here "when"
Last year being my first year - I have very few blooms (4 or 5 total) I am hoping this year I will have more..
thanks for the shot!

I hope you get 4-5 this year as well. 4-5 hundred blooms...or is that 45 hundred...I did send you some of my hybrids didn't I?

I did get some from you via Tig, thank you! I have been babying them and they are looking very well, I started fertilizing them (half strength once ever two weeks) they are still in small pots inside. I will let you know how they do.

Ahh, well Tig is a very nice person indeed. Guess I will have to compensate her for her generosity this summer.

Eric, your generocity has given many of us an opportunity to experience brugmansias that otherwise we never would have had. I was introduced to brugs last year, and had quite a few (ooopppsss forgot who I was talking to - lol) I had maybe a dozen, and had dreamed of the gorgeous blooms that I had seen on my friend's plant as well as on photos here, alas, it wasnt meant to be that year. I am gearing up for a spectacular showing of blooms this year.
I will definately take a picture and post it here....

thanks again Eric, for your wonderful contribution to my dream garden!
