Hi.. Tks for the pod you sent me.. SHould I open it now and or let it open itself??? Oh I cant wait to plant them lol..

Mini, you can open it now. It won't ever open by itself. Just take a knife and slit it open. Don't forget to soak the seeds overnight first before planting them.
You are very welcome for it and Happy Birthday even though it was a little late getting there.

Mini, not sure of the pollen donor, but it was either Charles Grimaldi, Ecuador Pink or Suaveolens white since those were the only ones I had blooming at the time.

Please post pictures for us when you get one you trully love. I personally hope its Ecuador pink, but Grimaldi would be nice as well.

Busybee, pollinate them by hand. Take the pollen on a Q-tip from one and place on the stigma of the recipient. It works in the green house for me. Eric has posted some really good directions on the forum back last year.

Thanks, Cala.
What would that be "generic" LOL

Were the ones you have from a named variety that someone just didn't label or were they from seed? Any seedlings that you hybridize/raise you can name.

A friend gave me "a white, a pink and a yellow" angel trumpet. They were new to me. I had only seen a yellow one blooming next to someone`s house. When she gave these to me I thought I dad them all. Wrong..Last year the hummer moths polinated them and I had seed pods on the darker pink one.I also have one that blooms a light pink or peach then turns dark peach when it wilts. From the photo`s the yellow looks like the CG. I sent farmgirl one of each and she has posted on on this forum when they were blooming.

Busybee, the seeds you sent me are growing really well. We will have to increase your collection this spring, wouldn't want you to be "brug deprived" lol. My first brugs were just tagged yellow, pink and white too.

busybee, you sent me some of your seeds the beginning of Dec. They are growing very well. You said they were a bright pink which turned darker. It will be a surprise when they bloom. :)I'll also have cuttings when mine grow a little bigger. Before you know it you'll have lots of named Brugs.

Thanks to both of you. That is very generous .Hard to stop calling them "HEY YOU" LOL. Serious guys I thank both of you from the bottom of my heart.

Busybee ,mine too, they germinated really fast and are doing real well,if you know what the seed pod looks like they might be able to narrow down the varieties you have. They are sooo good at this!!!
