Datura seed shelf life...

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

I just went thru some of my research papers and found some notes I had forgotten...I found in someones research that they did years ago that datura seeds can remain viable for up to 40 years under good conditions.

WOW, thanks for let everyone to know what about Brugs seeds should be the same to Datura seeds?

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

RedRose..unfortunately Brug seeds have a much shorter shelf life..I have had Brug seeds germinate after about 7-8 years..but much after that and the rate of germination drops off almost completely..
We need to do more research..:-)
