I got home from work tonight, and first thing, checked on the plants. I have a baby brug! He sprouted today sometime and is still bent over, but probably almost an inch tall. Do they grow that fast? I couldn't believe it. This is one that Gloria sent me and they've been planted since Feb 2nd. I got some more to plant too. I'm going to do that tonight. I am so excited. It's been a long wait.

Gloria had written ollie on this one. Where can I find a picture of what he'll look like when he grows up? But then, they don't grow true to type, do they?

Great...Ollie is a LBJ hybrid....creamy color....great bloomer. Your seed is an Ollie x ? cross. I have a picture of Ollie but it's not very good....send me your email address and I'll send you the picture.

Yes, indeed it is exciting to see that little seed sprout. I think you are on your way to having a very large brug family. I just joined DG's in January and I feel certain that by late summer, I will be able to share some things with you.
Little Ollie is doing wonderful. I don't care what he grows up to look like. He's mine and I love him. He's not bent over anymore. Loves his growlight. I feel like I just had another baby. LOL! Thank you all for sharing in my excitement, and thank you Gramma Gloria.
