Good morning everyone, lets have a great day!!!!!!!!!!

Today I feel pretty good so I am hoping for a great day with minimal pain. Yet I wonder if this is possible anymore. Anyway I hope all of you who are in pain too will be able to enjoy your day and do what you would like to do, I am fixin to go to the greenhouse and work for several hours. When it warms i hope to get my potatoes planted and green peas too. Big order for the day I know but we will see how much I get done. Being disabled is such a bummer at times. We just have to see a positive side to it. My positive side is my dear hubby of 20 yrs. He is disabled too for the past 11 yrs, only 42 now, and in constant pain from 4 back surgeries that have only helped a little. Because of our disability we get to spend each day together and for us it works. He is the light at the end of this sometimes long dark tunnel of pain. the time we have together is worth it all to me. Well i have rattled on long enough and I hope all of you have that bright side to your disability because we all need it.

tig, I'm hope you have a good day today, I know what you mean about be'g disabled. I have lung probelms and can't do things like I'd like to but I'm proud to be alive. After being in a coma for 23 days back in '97 and still be able to do pretty much what I want(most days) and care for my 89 yr.old mom I'm so blessed.

yes yardbird I would say you are blessed. well tday fizzled out quickly but tomorrow will be better i hope. i have had this sinus infection for 3 weeks and it keeps knocking me back. but like i said tomorrow ia a brand new day and we will see what it brings.

Janet, I am so sorry your great day was a short one, but glad you had at least a taste. You have such a great attitude in your ability to see the positive side of what some people would call a negative situation. Just snuggle that old boy of yours and keep enjoying each other, because you each have a treasure many people never find. I will pray for another, longer good day for you tomorrow.

Boy did i make up for yesterday today. what a good day i had. i planted potatoes, burned off the grass in an area of about 2 acres. put up a 60 ft fence for my snow peas to run on. and still managed a little house work and dinner. i am so tired right now but it is a great tired. i had a ball all day. hopefully tomorrow will be the same.

I just mopped my kitchen and that is quite a task for me and I am happy to get it done.

honibee I know what you mean. I dug up some plants so I could rework the bed and now I can hardly walk. the ball of my foot is swollen and i ache all over. Its a shame to have to hurt so much to do something we love so much. but i keep plugging on and trying. I have buckets, benches and milk crates all over my yard so i can sit when i need to. go a few feet and sit. go a few more and sit. but hey, it works for me. i refuse to roll over and give up yet.
