These seedlings are now about 2 weeks old and are putting out their second leaves. Plants are about 1-1.5" tall under grow lights.

Thanks Glory and Snowhermit. The other seedlings I transplanted into 1 gallon pots are growing really quickly. Even my cuttings started in 4 inch pots did not grow that fast. I'm guessing its because of the amount of water and nutrients + fertilizer available to them in bigger pots that makes the difference.

Glory,
Still nothing happening with the Tragedy seeds, but I'm going to just leave them for another month and see what happens with them. If nothing by that time I will just toss them.

Joydie, I planted all my seeds at the same time. I have some that are now a foot high and some just a few inches. I still have three six packs that haven't sprouted yet and some mixed seeds from VG that were planted on 12/29 and the first seedling just sprouted two days ago. Don't give up yet.

Snowhermit,
Thanks for the information. I'm so proud of my accomplishment with the seeds so far. Today I checked and the ones marked "? Frosty Pink" just started to sprout....yipee!!

I think I like the experience of growing them from seed more that the cuttings...now having said that..lol that does not imply that I don't want to accumulate more varieties of brugmansia from cuttings. Its just seeing that seedling pop out of the ground that gets me so excited.

I have patience. They will just get relegated to another spot while they germinate. I spent the morning cleaning the greenhouse and disenfecting surfaces and what not. Now this I like, but housework...hmmmm can't get excited about that.
