Hello farmers. It must be a busy day for everyone. Yesterday I worked at the neighbors for a while during the busy time of day. In 2 hours I brought 3 ewes with 7 lambs to the barn. One little triplet lamb was chilled so he got put in the warming oven. I swiped some colostrum from a ewe who was very busy with her new baby and tube fed him. When I went back at 1am he was looking better, all warm and dry and laying with his head up. He will be grafted (psychologally) on to a ewe with a single lamb and enough milk for two. The owner had tubed him again about 3 hours after the first one. He should do just fine. Today is cold and windy again but with bright sun. I had wanted to go riding but put it off for another day when it should be more comfortable. I hope all of you had a great day, remember to count your blessings.
