anemone 'de caen'
dodecatheon meadia
aconitum napellus
myosotis sylvatica
myosotis aplpestris
some sources say that these all need some sun, but is it true that they can really handle all the shade? the garden bed i am speaking of gets a couple hours of morning sun, and a couple hours evening sun in summer. i don't know, suppose 3-5 hours at most, in all.
have you got experience growing these in "almost" full shade
I know the aconitum will bloom, I also have the myosotis, but mine have not bloomed yet. Morning sun is all these plants get in my shady yard.
the anemone will and so will primrose. I have also found that sweet william can take a lot of shade. It may even be enough sun for foxglove
The dodecathelon should take that location nicely. Mine is in a similar location. Lots of plants can take a lot more shade than you think.
