View on to the Vogelsberg mountains with its many inactive volcanos. I live in the midst of the forests, seen in the back. Spring comes late, in May, short but powerful.

Very beautiful. Kind of reminds me of the foothills in NC and of course the beautiful wild red/orange flame azalea's up in the mtns of NC as well.
Summers might be short but to have that kind of beauty to feast your eyes upon has to be worth a lot. Great picture, Monika. Wish we had a view like this one.

I love the green colors of spring and summer. When the wheat fields turning yellow, I get my first depression, summer is passing and when autumn paints the forests, I get my winter depression.
The flowers in front are named Löwenzahn (Lions teeth) dandelion.
