Did Kyle get lost?

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Just wondering where Kyle has gone. Have seen him post on other forums, but not lately. Suppose he might be out on a plant hunting expedition? Hope he brings us some more pictures of some of his creations.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

I have been wondering the same thing. He was putting in pictures right and left, now nothing?

Oh Kyle, wherefore art thou....?

How long, Glory? For me its now 36 years!

Monika,
I've been married for 38 years...WOW..that sure is a long time. LOL

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

and I thought 20 years was forever!! I'm too young to have been married that long!!!!

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

I'll be married 30 years this August. There's something wrong though as I'm only 19 years old.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

I'm at 1 1/2 years ....this time........

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

It's 36 for me . . .
gosh! it has not been that long ago that I was 36. Time really goes by fast.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

On my second time around. First time 17-1/2 years and this one is about to reach 16. There was a six year lull between the two, so I could have been at 40 this June. OMG, I don't even want to think about that.

On my way to second time now *lol* Wonderful I must say :D *lol* First time was a success ... both one year before and two full years after *lol* ... arrh, I was only 24 then ... had a LTR between these two lasting 12 years :)
However, being single had its charms too ;) I bet you all still remember this "everything could happen"-feel *lol* :)

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Time is passing in a hurry and it seems that older you get, its passing even faster.

We women catched the wrong side of the rope I believe. Our DHs retire but we still have to stay in the kitchen and and and........

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

Very true, Monika.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

You sure got that right!!

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

Hmmmmmm now it seems to me that you women need to learn the fundamental secret to having a wonderful marriage.

RULE # 1.

STOP COOKING EVERYDAY AND TREAT YOURSELF BY TAKING YOUR HUSBAND OUT TO DINNER OR ORDER IN DINNER ONCE A WEEK.

I learned this LONGGGGGG time ago. I used to dump the change out of DH's pockets every night. I put the change in a glass and by the end of the week whatever was in there was the makings of dinner out. Then I told him what the glass was for me to take HIM out to dinner as a special treat for working so hard. hH started tossing in the odd five or dollar bill. By the end of the week there was the money for dinner out or to order in.

Now how does this benefit women? Easy!
1. No dishes to wash.
2. No standing over the stove to cook.
3. A BIG TREAT FOR YOURSELF!
4. If you order in you have dinner picnic style with paper plates.
5. You get 48 days every year where you don't have to cook.

I still did this when I was a single parent. The kids loved it and I still was able to get a break from cooking.

Remember women start cooking from a very early age in life. In my family the girls started cooking at about age 13 or so. Women continue to do so every day until they die, so change the pattern up a little bit and TREAT YOURSELF!!! FOR A CHANGE.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Sorry, Kyle, we forgot this was about where you had dissapeared to. How quickly we forget.

Who does your cookin'? Mom?? NOT YOU!!!?

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Kyle,Can you cook?please say no ,that would be too good to be true....

I love to cook. DH loves me to cook as he's pretty fussy about restaurant meals. Anyway, can't take Oscar ( rescued boxer who's quite sick and has terrible separation anxiety) to a fancy restaurant. But DH always cleans up, especially if we've got company. That's OK with me. Been married to him 22 years in May and still like him a lot. Must be because he's a rose gardener and I get fresh roses half of the year. And he has great taste in wine. LOL
