What a beautiful day we had here yesterday. We were so busy but we didn't have to deal with bad weather. I was almost ready for bed last night when I decided I better go and check on my ewe that had prolapsed and her baby. He might need a little more supplement. and while I was at it a quick check on my new baby goats. As I was coming back to the house I saw lights pull in the drive way. uh oh, there I was standing in my long john bottoms, old holey teal bath robe, gum boots, work gloves, old woolen scarf and a bottle for the lamb. My best friend's oldest son and his lovely wife just happened to stop by. They stayed and watched an old movie with us and I gave her lots of plant starts, and showed her some of my favorite garden spots on the internet. She is fascinated with the whole plant trading thing. So I gave her some pointers on that.
Well, the spring peepers (little frogs) were singing their hearts out yesterday evening. whoops, they will have to go back into hiding til we get past our cold weather that is on the way.
I need to go over to my brother's house and bottle feed a lamb while they go to church and then to my daughter's house for lunch. She had company last night that bought pizza with lots left over.
I saw a bumper sticker on my way home from work on Friday. It said, "Go play outside." It was on an SUV with bikes racks and racks on the top. I think I will take that advice.
