FL swap

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

we're getting really close!!! I am putting together what I can to bring, but don't know just how much that will be right now. I need to know what kind of things Gloria is interested in!! and gingerlily (I think it's you) I need to know what I can bring for the glory bower.
I'm bringing mostly seedlings of things, can bring more that way. I hope that's going to work!
SOOOO, what kinds of things are you bringing? (might just jolt my memory into what else I have)

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

TiG, thanks for reminding us!! I've put off much too long getting my list together. I will look around the greenhouse and see what's ready.
I have passifloras, pandorea, glorybower, brug seeds(please take some) dicentra for Roz, I've got to get busy!!

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

I do, too, it is just around the corner.

I promise to do that very soon...really I will. LOL

Are we supposed to post the list on this site? I have it ready.

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

First let me say i am sure i will come back and edit this, you might want to check back and not skip to next reply.
for special trades, mainly due to the work bringing them and their age, i have black bamboo, a mature champney's pink cluster rose (geez, bought it last year without blooms --- that was what my identified rose was!), and rose Heirloom from 1972 very pretty, violet rose but not old enough for me....my others are carefree bloomers, also joseph's coat, same thing, not old enough....just doesn't grow well in my dirt. (all 3 were bought mature within the last 1 1/2 years).
loose trades to free...
if anyone is interested in stuff i have coming up, 2 kinds of S. coccinea, red & coral nymph, cuphea cigar plant, florida red sage to 5 feet, hibiscus cannabinus, cannas may be pot luck on color, they all have names i just don't know them..., several kinds of yellow/orange combos, 2 tall orange, pretoria, tropicanna, etc...i think blue flax.
brugs.....still waiting on cutting of maya from neighbor, would like one of those in case, and tropical sunset...
have a brugman aurea white hybrid that is rooting easily, otherwise email me for my list or let me know what you are looking for...

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Arlene, what would you be interested in for that Black Bamboo?

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

Cala, probably a brug some day in the future, lol....i can send you a pic sometime, in a 3 gallon pot i think, about too heavy for me to pic up, will probably take me a little piece out....

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

arlene, a little piece would be fine. I will save you one of my best!!

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

Cala, i'll keep a little piece, give you the bigger. maybe someone else may want a start....i swear it's the heaviest pot!

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

Oh Cala, don't put my name on anything for the swap because it is looking like we aren't going to make it. Renee is babysitting with grandchildren while her daughter and hubby go to Australia. I don't know what is on her agenda after that, but just don't count on us. Maybe we can start planning earlier the next time and get there for sure.

Thanks for thinking of me though. Forgot to put this in with the original post.

Would you save me one of each of the cestrums?

Arlene,
Can I have a piece of the Black Bamboo too?

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

Calla, does the mollissimo know i didn't spell right have pink flowers? would like to try one if so.

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)

I had to stop reading...I turned sooo green with envy.

Wow, what a great collection of plants.....

You lucky devils you!!!
Arlene, that black bamboo sounds intriguing, do you have a picture of it? Will you post it so I can see? or maybe When calla gets it she can post one.

You ladies (and gents) are going to have a smashing time.

What I wouldnt give to make it down. Oh well, it's not meant to be this year, but you all be sure and post after the get together and those of us that couldnt come can at least experience it second hand....

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

Pebble, the black bamboo is a baby still, takes 2 years to turn black i am told. it is a runner, am kinda afraid to put in the ground, gonna grow it in a large bucket til i decide. you would have to drive a truck down, you know, to haul your plants back, i think you should, but understand.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Glory, I have your name on one each of the cestrums. The pink ones have been blooming all winter.
Arlene, yes the molissima is pink, and have one for you.

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

Cala, aren't the pink gorgeous...and i gotta tell you, my yellow one didn't die back and is LOADED with buds already.
thanks to everyone with my name on their plants.

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)
