Need Princess Di canna

Does anyone have an extra Princess Di canna root that they would trade or SASE?

Brugie Home Depot in DSM had them last year 5 Of Princess Di and 5 China dolls for $9.97

Thanks Kyle, but it isn't that easy to run to DM just to check. I just went ahead and ordered some. Think I got 3 for almost $9, but three will be plenty anyway.

I bought one here at our Home Depot at the end of the summer..$4.00..not in bloom..so I just kept it in the pot on the deck for awhile and then put it in a paper bag in the basement..sure hope this baby lives..interesting gray/green striped leaves..and I think i is supposed to be a cream colour when it blooms..am I right?

Just had a thought..do you think I could start it indoors in a pot to give it a head sart..or should I be patient..(not my strong suit)and wait to put it directly into the ground.. Zone 5

It is hard to tell from pictures, but looks to be a creamy yellow with an apricot center or pink. Don't have the info in front of me, but it just looked like a nice delicate color and that is what I wanted in one of my cannas. Good luck with yours from HD. I sure wish I didn't have to drive 50 miles to get to our closest store. Of course, I'm saving a lot of money by not being close too.

So it's down to the basement to plant ..at least my Princess Di..I even bought new pot yesterday..so I think I will put her in it..do you have yours in a window or under lights..
any tips for me?

I have them in a south window-watering when needed!

I think of all the new cannas I have grown lately that Princess Di is the most delicate and pastel...It blooms like crazy..I'll post a pic
