Later, Gator! (And AI Roboform)

Gator is a program which fills out forms online for you and remembers your passwords for you. It stores this information, encrypted, on your hard drive. I used it for almost two years and really liked it, except for the annoying pop-up ads it did.

Well, I found out it is one of THE worst spyware programs out there. It not only keeps track of all the sites you visit and sends personal information to itself for distribution to third parties...It also hijacks the banner ads on the sites you visit, replacing it with its own advertisers' banners. Think of the lost revenue that last one costs companies -- people never even *see* their ads because Gator has put its own in their place.
